What is Tried & Tested?

Tried & Tested is Kidyounot.sg’s product review platform where parents can test new products, share honest reviews, and help others make informed decisions. It’s a trusted community built by real parents, for real parents.

To become a tester:
1. Sign up as a member on Kidyounot.sg.
2. Apply for available product testing opportunities.
3. Wait for approval, which usually takes around 5 days.
4. If selected, you’ll receive the product by mail to test and review.

If you’re not chosen for a specific testing opportunity, don’t worry! You can still share reviews for products you’ve already used. Keep an eye out for new opportunities—you could be selected next time!

Testers must submit their reviews within 30 days of receiving the product. Timely reviews ensure you earn your points and remain eligible for future testing opportunities.

 

Yes! If you’ve used a product before, you can directly submit your review without applying as a tester.

Points are earned by submitting reviews.
  • Standard Points: Earn points for writing a detailed review.
  • Bonus Points: Upload photos with your review to earn extra points.
You can redeem points for:
  • Discounts on future purchases.
  • Priority access to test more premium products.
  • Other exclusive rewards as offered by Kidyounot.sg.

You’ll receive an email notification if your application is approved. The email will include product details, expected delivery times, and instructions for submitting your review.

No, testing is completely free. If selected, you’ll receive the product at no cost in exchange for your honest review.

Write a detailed and honest review by covering:
  • Your first impressions (e.g., packaging, design).
  • How you or your family used the product.
  • Features you liked or found unique.
  • Any challenges or areas for improvement.
  • Whether you’d recommend the product to others and why.
Including photos enhances your review and earns you bonus points!
Typically, testers are selected for one product at a time to ensure quality feedback. Once you’ve completed and submitted your review, you can apply for new opportunities.
 
Missing the 30-day deadline may result in losing the opportunity to earn points and could impact your chances of being selected for future product testing opportunities.
While the platform is designed for parents, anyone who is a member of Kidyounot.sg and is interested in providing honest reviews can join.

YOU AGREE that Kidyounot.sg, a platform operated by Next Chapter Media Pte Ltd, its subsidiaries, partners, and affiliates (collectively “we”, “our”, or “us”), may collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

To qualify for redemption, participants must meet the following criteria:

To qualify for the Lash Inc. Giveaway and cash voucher rewards, participants must:

  • GIVEAWAY STRUCTURE
  • Grand Prize: One participant will win a $500 Lash Inc. voucher.

Participants who complete a financial consultation will receive one additional entry into the grand prize draw.

  • LUCKY DRAW TIMING
  • The lucky draw will commence once 50 valid sign-upsare received, or by 31st August 2025, whichever occurs first.
  • The winner will be selected at random and announced within 7 days of the draw on kidyounot.sg’s Instagram page (@kidyounot.sg).
  • VOUCHER TERMS
  • All vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and valid only for use at Lash Inc.
  • Vouchers are issued on an “as-is” basis and will not be reissued or replaced if lost or expired.
  • Redemption is subject to Lash Inc.’s appointment availability and terms of service.
  • SUBSTITUTION & CANCELLATION

Kidyounot.sg and Next Chapter Media reserve the right to:

  • Modify, postpone, or cancel the giveaway or any of its components at any time without prior notice.

  • Expect delivery or self-collection to be processed within 6–8 weeks from the redemption request.

  • Only parents or guardians with caregiving responsibilities are eligible to apply.
  • Application Process:
  • Submission of the application form does not guarantee selection.
  • Kidyounot.sg reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on product suitability and internal criteria.
  • Product Usage & Review:
  • Selected testers will receive products within 5-7 working days after confirmation.
  • Testers are required to test the product and submit an honest, detailed review within 30 days of receiving the product.
  • Review Guidelines:
  • Reviews should reflect genuine experiences without any false or misleading information.
  • Reviews may be edited for clarity or grammar but not for content.
  • Ownership of Reviews:
  • By submitting a review, you grant Kidyounot.sg the right to use, reproduce, and publish your review for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes without additional compensation.
  • Disqualification:
  • Failure to submit a review within the stipulated timeframe may result in disqualification from future campaigns.
  • Misuse of products or submission of fraudulent reviews will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Liability:
  • Kidyounot.sg is not responsible for any adverse effects or damages resulting from the use of the tested products.
  • Products are provided “as-is,” and any claims should be directed to the respective product manufacturer.
