Questions parents ask

Who can apply?

Parents and guardians with caregiving responsibilities, aged 21 and above, living in Singapore.

How are testers chosen?

We shortlist based on how well a product suits your family, such as your child's age. Applying doesn't guarantee a spot, but you can apply for every new campaign.

When will my product arrive?

Within 5–7 working days after we confirm you as a tester.

How long do I have to review?

30 days from receiving the product. Share what you honestly thought, good or bad.

What if I don't submit a review?

You may not be selected for future campaigns, so let us know early if something comes up.

What do I get for reviewing?

Reward points on your Kidyounot account, which you can redeem through our Rewards Program.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data KidYouNot collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to kidyounot.sg and our related channels, such as WhatsApp, email and social media.

KidYouNot is run by Next Chapter Media Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202448229Z) ("we", "us"). We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Please read this together with our Terms of Use and Cookies Policy.

1What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email, mobile number and password.
  • Profile and delivery details: your address and, if you share them, details about your children such as their age or age group.
  • Campaign and giveaway entries: your applications, form answers, reviews, ratings, photos and videos.
  • Campaign-specific details: some campaigns ask for more, for example the maternity goodie bag asks for your date of birth, estimated due date, delivery hospital and residency status. Each form shows what it collects.
  • Rewards activity: your points, referrals and redemptions.
  • Orders: what you buy through our marketplace. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, WhatsApp or social media.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools. See our Cookies Policy.

2How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account, including verifying your mobile number with a one-time SMS code.
  • To run Tried & Tested campaigns and giveaways: selecting testers and winners, and arranging delivery of products and prizes.
  • To manage your points, referrals and rewards.
  • To publish reviews, photos and videos you submit, as described in our Terms of Use.
  • To contact you about your account, campaigns and deadlines by email or WhatsApp.
  • To send you news, offers and campaign invitations, if you have agreed to receive them (see section 5).
  • To improve our website, prevent fraud and duplicate accounts, and meet our legal obligations.

3Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:

  • Brands in campaigns you join: your name, mobile number and delivery address, so they can send you a product or prize and follow up on the campaign.
  • Campaign partners: some campaigns are run with partners, such as licensed financial advisory firms. We share your details with a partner only when the campaign clearly says so and you choose to take part, for example to arrange a consultation that the campaign offers.
  • Service providers: companies that help us run KidYouNot, such as website hosting, SMS verification, email, analytics and delivery. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities: where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our members and others.
  • Business changes: if KidYouNot is merged, sold or restructured, your data may be transferred as part of that, under this policy.

Some of our service providers store data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

4Children

KidYouNot accounts are for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

  • We only hold information about your children that you choose to give us, such as their age group, or photos and videos in your reviews.
  • By sharing it, you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian.
  • To ask us to stop using a photo of your child in new materials, email us (see section 8).

5Marketing messages

  • We send marketing messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp only if you have agreed to receive them.
  • You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP, or emailing us.
  • Messages about your account, campaigns you have joined or prizes you have won are not marketing, and you may still receive them.

6Security and how long we keep data

We use reasonable security measures to protect your data, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep by law. Reviews and photos already published may remain, as described in our Terms of Use.

7Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used or shared in the past year.
  • Correct personal data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Withdraw your consent to us collecting, using or sharing your data. This may mean you can no longer take part in some campaigns, or keep your account.

Email us with your request. We will reply as soon as reasonably possible, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Our website links to other sites, such as brand websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

8Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with its date, and tell members about major changes.

  • Use of Your Personal Data

YOU AGREE that Kidyounot.sg, a platform operated by Next Chapter Media Pte Ltd, its subsidiaries, partners, and affiliates (collectively “we”, “our”, or “us”), may collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with products, services, and fulfil giveaway participation;
  • For consumer research, promotional, and marketing purposes;
  • To verify your eligibility for campaigns, promotions, or contests;
  • To provide you with the benefits of any membership, campaign, or contest you participate in.

 

We may share your personal data within our organisation and with third parties supporting our marketing, logistics, customer service, business development, and campaign fulfilment functions. This may include storing, using, or transferring your data outside of Singapore. We may also share your personal data for joint-marketing and cross-promotional efforts.

  • GIVEAWAY CONDITIONS

To qualify for redemption, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Gift Conditions

To qualify for the Lash Inc. Giveaway and cash voucher rewards, participants must:

  • Be at least 21 years old and currently residing in Singapore.
  • Provide consent to receive promotional and marketing materials from Kidyounot.sg, Next Chapter Media Pte Ltdand their affiliated partners.
  • Not be an appointed Financial Adviser Representative nor have an immediate family (spouse) who is currently appointed as one.
  • Provide a valid local mobile number and email address.
  • Agree to a no-obligation financial consultation with a licensed representative from Xchange Branch, a branch of Infinitum Financial Advisory Pte. Ltd. (trading under the name and style of “Income Advisory Financial Advisers” (“IAFA”)).
  • GIVEAWAY STRUCTURE
  • Grand Prize: One participant will win a $500 Lash Inc. voucher.
  • Bonus Vouchers: Participants who complete a consultation will receive a $50 Lash Inc. voucher (limited to one voucher per participant).

 

Participants who complete a financial consultation will receive one additional entry into the grand prize draw.

  • LUCKY DRAW TIMING
  • The lucky draw will commence once 50 valid sign-upsare received, or by 31st August 2025, whichever occurs first.
  • The winner will be selected at random and announced within 7 days of the draw on kidyounot.sg’s Instagram page (@kidyounot.sg).
  • VOUCHER TERMS
  • All vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and valid only for use at Lash Inc.
  • Vouchers are issued on an “as-is” basis and will not be reissued or replaced if lost or expired.
  • Redemption is subject to Lash Inc.’s appointment availability and terms of service.
  • SUBSTITUTION & CANCELLATION

Kidyounot.sg and Next Chapter Media reserve the right to:

  • Modify, postpone, or cancel the giveaway or any of its components at any time without prior notice.
  • Substitute the giveaway items with items of similar or equal value, depending on availability.

 

All decisions made by the organisers regarding the giveaway are final and binding.

  • LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kidyounot.sg, Next Chapter Media, IAFA, and its authorised representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, claim, or damage arising from this giveaway or its associated products. Participants agree to release and indemnify all mentioned parties from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Personal injury, death, or disability;
  • Property loss or damage;
  • Misuse or misunderstanding of products and services provided.

 

This giveaway is governed by the laws of Singapore, and all participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Disclaimer:

The Kidyounot Rewards Program (“Program”) is designed to reward users for their engagement on our platform. Points earned through various activities are non-transferable, have no cash value, and can only be redeemed in accordance with the terms outlined below. Kidyounot.sg reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.

  • Eligibility:
  • The Program is open to all registered users of Kidyounot.sg with an active account in good standing.
  • Earning and Redeeming Points:
  • Points can be earned and redeemed as outlined on Kidyounot.sg.
  • Redemption options are subject to availability and may change without notice.
  • Points Expiry:
  • Points are valid for a specified period from the date they are earned. Expired points will be automatically forfeited without notice.
  • Non-Transferability:
  • Points are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other accounts.
  • Account Termination:
  • If a user’s account is terminated for any reason, all unused points will be forfeited.
  • Kidyounot.sg reserves the right to revoke points or suspend accounts found engaging in fraudulent or abusive activities.
  • Program Changes:
  • Kidyounot.sg reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  • Limitation of Liability:

  • Application Process:
  • Submission of the application form does not guarantee selection.
  • Kidyounot.sg reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on product suitability and internal criteria.
  • Product Usage & Review:
  • Selected testers will receive products within 5-7 working days after confirmation.
  • Testers are required to test the product and submit an honest, detailed review within 30 days of receiving the product.
  • Review Guidelines:
  • Reviews should reflect genuine experiences without any false or misleading information.
  • Reviews may be edited for clarity or grammar but not for content.
  • Ownership of Reviews:
  • By submitting a review, you grant Kidyounot.sg the right to use, reproduce, and publish your review for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes without additional compensation.
  • Disqualification:
  • Failure to submit a review within the stipulated timeframe may result in disqualification from future campaigns.
  • Misuse of products or submission of fraudulent reviews will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Liability:
  • Kidyounot.sg is not responsible for any adverse effects or damages resulting from the use of the tested products.
  • Products are provided “as-is,” and any claims should be directed to the respective product manufacturer.
